Welcome! I'm John William Meyer and I hold an M.S. in Economics from UT Austin and a B.A. in Economics and History from Middlebury College. I bring over a decade of experience tutoring and teaching, including as a public school teacher in New York City, and a TA in the Economics department at UT. I’m comfortable adapting to different learning styles and pacing, and I teach math from arithmetic all the way through calculus.Alongside teaching, I’ve spent ten years working in tech, which enables me to explain academic concepts in practical, real-world terms. For test prep, I earned a perfect score on the GRE Quantitative section and scored in the 92nd percentile on Verbal and I’m genuinely excited to help you or your student of any age build confidence, reach their goals, and go after their dreams.
