About Me

Welcome! I'm John William Meyer and I hold an M.S. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Economics and History from Middlebury College.

With over a decade of tutoring and teaching experience, including as a public school teacher in New York City and a Teaching Assistant in the Economics department at UT, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. My approach is rooted in adapting to different learning styles and making academic concepts accessible and engaging.

Alongside my teaching career, I’ve spent ten years working in Tech, which enables me to connect academic concepts to practical, real-world applications. For test prep, I earned a perfect score on the GRE Quantitative section and scored in the 92nd percentile on the Verbal section.
