ABOUT JOHN WILLIAM

Taught in NYC classrooms. Trained at the graduate level in math and economics.

I'm John William, a former NYC public school teacher and university economics TA with an M.S. in Economics from UT Austin. Most score gains come from fixing a specific gap. I start by identifying exactly where a student's gaps are, then focus sessions on the two or three areas most likely to move their score. I'm excited to help your student build the mastery and confidence to walk into exam day ready.

FAQ

Common questions

Which AP subjects do you tutor?

AP Calculus (AB and BC), AP Statistics, and AP Economics (Micro and Macro). All three build directly on my math and economics background.

Do sessions follow my class curriculum or the AP exam itself?
How many sessions should I plan for before the exam?

Both. Sessions track what's happening in your class day-to-day, while staying anchored to the skills and question types the AP exam actually tests.

This depends on your starting point and exam date, but most students see meaningful gains within a 10-session package, with the first session determining exactly where to focus.
